Old (Oude) Fashioned

The Dutch variant of an exquisite drink. Just perfect!

 

 

INGREDIENTS

2 oz                       “By the Dutch” Old Genever
1 tbs                       Brown sugar
2 dashes             “By the Dutch” Classic Bitters
1 dash                  “By the Dutch” Orange Bitters
                                 Soda water

 

                           

INSTRUCTIONS

In a rocks glass crush some sugar with a splash of soda, then add ice. Pour the Old Genever and add the Bitters. Stir (around 40 times). Garnish with orange peel, squeezing it on top to release its essential oils.
