Kjersti’s Last Words

This drink is part of the campaign #WeHaveTheLastWord . To create our version of the Last Word cocktail we asked the help of the skilled staff of Bar Brasserie Occo in Amsterdam. This drink was crafted by bartender Kjersti, so we named this cocktail in her honour.

Here’s the magnificent recipe we used for our Old Genever:

INGREDIENTS

30 ml                     “By the Dutch” Old Genever
10 ml                      Cherry Liqueur Wynand Fockink
5 ml                        Herbal bitters Shelvispekel Van Toor
10 ml                      Yellow Chartreuse

INSTRUCTIONS

Shake ingredients on ice, fine strainer in a chilled Martini Coup and garnish with a cherry.
